The Contra Costa Cake Show and Competition is open to all cake decorating and sugar art enthusiasts. The competition provides an opportunity to showcase decorating skills, get feedback from our distinguished panel of judges, and win awards and prizes. Included here are important registration deadlines, divisional classification, description of categories, and rules for the Competition and the Guittard Cupcake Challenge Tasting Competition. Competitors should carefully read each of the above sections and refer to them often as they create their entry. Failure to adhere to the rules of a category may result in lower score from judges or disqualification.
