Sugar Artist Susan Carberry, owner of the Cake Cottage in Murrieta, CA, for 15 years, passed away in January 2023.
She was a world class decorator and instructor. Susan’s Edible Works of Art won numerous awards. She was featured in magazines and TV shows, including two episodes of TLC’s Ultimate Cake Off in which she won one.
This scholarship program honors her memory and celebrates her life and passion for the sugar arts and helps carry on her amazing story and talent.
The purpose of this scholarship is to enable anyone interested in the sugar arts to enroll in advanced courses or training that will enhance their sugar art knowledge and that will teach them new techniques in the sugar arts.
